But a Zoom call,
Leading to two purchases.
One planned, one impromptu,
Both among our top two.

​My cousin wanted to start a blog,
Had brainstormed potential names and all.

​But I had a hunch,
She wouldn't take the plunge.
Unless I forced her hand,
Over in the Zoom-land.

She got the Bluehost,
I got the no host.
Mine would come a month later,
For I was no longer a hater.

Anyway, night turned into day,
Exactly 2 years ago today,
Cousin had me so inspired,
GoDaddy domain I acquired.

Experts often say just do it!
If only they knew it.
Just how hard,
Simple first steps truly are.

Let's pull back the curtain,
Make you more certain.
Everyone starts somewhere,
Eventually, you'll get there.

You can try to follow the pro,
Or maybe just the amateur next door?
Amateurs might not know the best,
But relate to us more than the rest.

I'm no expert, but things I notice,
